Descending Into Self

A Master Class with Noel Abbott at Shelburne Falls Yoga

Saturday February 25  3-5 pm. $22

Harness the physical practice of yoga as a gateway for unfolding your full human potential. Using the tools of structural detail, subtle sensation, kinesthetic listening, and awareness within postures we will explore and develop our capacities to pierce the veil of bounded awareness and ultimately to live from a clear, fuller, and very different place.
Unearth extraordinary gifts and the miracle of being truly alive.
For experienced practitioners and yoga teachers.  You don't have to be an advanced practitioner to attend.

Noel Abbott  has a passion for creating spaces of exploration and safety for others to dive deep in their lives. He champions and holds a strong respect for each individual and for the courage it takes to explore the uncharted territory of inner landscape and in finding and celebrating what is of value in each unique expressive contribution in life.

Noel combines the skills and insights of his background as an Organization Development Consultant for Fortune 100 companies, with over 28 years of yoga and meditation practice disciplines. He has been teaching yoga since 1986, directed corporate yoga and stress management programs for Bristol-Myers Squibb, and has run special programs for The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

He was certified as a Kripalu Yoga Teacher in 1986, and was an eleven-year resident of Kripalu Center where he held the role of Acharya, led resident retreats, and headed a yoga training team for Spiritual Lifestyle Trainees. Noel was the founder of Sky of Light Yoga Center, which he built on his former property in Rensselaerville, New York.

His teaching style has been described as clear, inclusive, and highly supportive. His sessions blend elements of Kripalu, Iyengar and Vinyasa yoga with skills gleaned from stress management work and many years of practicing Vipassana Meditation. He is an eleven-year trustee for The Kripalu Trust, and currently serves as Chairman of the Rowe Select Board.
