Winter Solstice and Holiday Schedule

As the winter solstice approaches, we move towards a place of deep quiet, the earth hovering like the pause at the end of a long exhale (much like the yogic practice of kumbhaka), a stillpoint before the next inhalation of breath and light. In the dark interlude we can fold inward to witness the vast peace that supports our busy active lives and then spring forth into the lengthening days with the energy garnered from there.
The holiday schedule of classes will remain the same except for no classes on Christmas Day, or New Year’s morning. We will have a special New Year’s class in the afternoon from 4-5 before the Redbird concert at Memorial Hall.
